To improve the financial literacy levels of Ghanaians, the Financial Sector Strategic Plan encouraged regulatory agencies to undertake financial education programmes in their respective sectors. The Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning (MoFEP) with support from USAID and TIPCEE recommended the launch of an annual financial literacy week to raise awareness of the range of financial products and services available to consumers to help them better understand and manage their finances.
Media Majique was selected to manage and coordinate the publicity and activities leading up to the Week. To achieve its objectives, Media Majique undertook the following:
