PANAFEST is the longest running Pan African arts and culture festival in Africa with a focus on confronting the effects of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Over the years, the Festival has faced numerous challenges like budget constraints, lack of governmental support, outdated brand and logistical shortfalls. Media Majique developed a program to address the challenges and revitalize the PANAFEST brand in order to secure necessary funds and ensure a successful celebration.
Our approach included securing sponsorships, coordinating event activities, and managing press engagements. Following the success of the 2015 edition, Media Majique went on to organize the 2017, and 2019 editions of the bi-annual festival, to further solidify PANAFEST as a leading cultural event in Africa. These subsequent editions built upon the momentum, and outcomes achieved in 2015, and incorporated a more youthful version to expand the demographic to include the Gen Z and social media generation.
